New clip and lyrics for A.I.M. Fire!

Our new clip! Directed by the immeasurably talented SPOD. Also, here are the lyrics:

Apple, apple
I’ve gone away to another weird time
Apple, apple
I drop my anchor yeah I leave it behind

Busy-body busy fire
Hop! Take a little
Hop! Take a little

Busy-body busy fire Hop!
Take a little
Hop! Take a little

Wake up the sound that created the light
Wake up the the sound and define the feeling
We’ve got the time and we’re doing alright
I got a feeling and it won’t let go
We’ve got control of the rivers and the ocean
And the tides – see them fly!

Music and time it’s the flowing of emotion
I got a feeling and it won’t let go.

A. I. M! A. I. M! A. I. M! Fire!

Don’t you know that I like it journey way into the night
Away to go
Ah ah way to go
But don’t you stay in the darkness
gonna get you with the vibes
Falling out of the main body fire

Busy-body busy fire
Hop! Take a little Hop!
Take a little

Busy-body busy fire
Hop! Take a little Hop! Take a little

Got a feeling and it won’t let go.

Beebop and Rocksteady never won the war!

A. I. M.! Aim A. I. M.! Aim A. I. M.! Aim Fire! Aim Fire.

Our debut album The Experiment is out now!

Hello all,

As you know from our countless ranting emails, carrier pigeon messages and subliminal brain manipulations, we have our debut album coming out in Australia TODAY.

It is called The Experiment! You can buy it now at all good record stores, and perhaps some bad ones!

We hope you listen to it:

1. With friends in your living room
2. On headphones on the bus to your place of education/employment
3. Underwater

When you have done these three things, you will understand certain aspects of our intentions.

TOUR DIARY

The last 3 weeks in AVS land have been spent abroad.

We spent 10 days in the United Kingdom, played a bunch of shows and had a very enjoyable time. Thanks to all who came along and pogoed around. It was very odd for us to have people turn up to our shows on the other side of the globe. So thank you!

We spent a lot of the time engineering our debut release from our London AVS headquarters. We have many things to show you all over the coming months.

We’ve also been in Tokyo and Niseko in the lovely land of Japan. Went to Muteki Mario in Tokyo, a tiny bar devoted to the greatest video game character of all time. The owner is some game designer and over the years he has collected about 5 billion pieces of nintendo related paraphernalia, which is strewn all about the place. Groovy.
Also we stood and stared at Shibuya crossing, where the are about a thousand people that cross the road every time the lights change. Bonus.

Yes, yes and then we played in Niseko, Japan to some peoples and it was very much fun. And now we are on our way to Tasmania to play MS Fest.

So there you have it. We have returned for Future Music Festival(s) and the Chemical Brothers tour support, which we are well excited about. Please come along and watch us play. It makes us happy when you do.

Thanks for listening, hope you like the album!

SLEEK GEEKS! AND MORE!

Hey all,

This Thursday on the ABC at 8.30pm we will be on Doctor Karl and Adam Spencer’s Sleek Geeks. It’s a great show about all things science. We wrote a one and a half minute song about bad breath for it. Tune in if you like. See us rhyme words like “halitosis” with “diagnosis”, and “putrecene” with “cadavarine”, and understand why these words have never been used before in a song ever..

Yes!

Also you may have heard it on the radio recently but we recorded a version of Split Enz’s I See Red for the compilation He Will Have His Way, a collection of covers of Neil and Tim Finn songs. The compilation is out now and it is awesome! You owe yourself a listen. The Philly Jays version of I Got You, Dan Sultan’s Shark Attack and Sleepy Jackson’s Better Be Home Soon are some highlights. Check it out.

Stay tuned for new music VERY SOON. We like you.
